4th Generation Headlight question

I did a search on the forums but did not find too much info.

I remember reading a while back that the OEM healights from E-bay are not good.
Can someone confirm this and give me more info.

How about the e-bay OEM corner lights.

I have a 98 Camry

I've gotten corners and headlights from Ebay. They are not oem, but oem style made by aftermarket companies. If you order oem style headlights, don't expect the high quality standards real oems have. While it still looks great, standards are not as high for aftermarket ones.

But once they are in, u can't tell the diff really.

Where the lens seals to the housing - run a bead of clear silicon to help make sure they are water tight. Clouding/leaking are the main complaints, and that can be fixed.

It is not the seal on mine, just the plastic itself clouding.

I didn't want to start a new thread.
Are the OEM headlights on the 98 camry glass or plastic ?????
I saw a set that just sold on ebay and they were glass ....Mine are plastic and they have the same engraved description than the glass ones.....

Thanks

I had my Camry's fog lights from ebay, aftermarket but they are pretty much like OEMs. I previously had some of my auto body parts sourced from ebay and so far I always had a nice deal and the quality is also good so until now I still trust bidding on them.

I got the plastic eBay headlights and they work good.

Had them now for about 2 years. No leaks, no condensation.
