Talking Crazy Wheels - LEDs

So I've been looking for some unique wheels for my new '07 LE, and came across these. And before you ask, I have already called Arelli and they discontinued this wheel before it even went into production. Couldn't get the lights to light up consistently! My best guess after talking to a guy at Discount Tire, is the LEDs were powered Kenetically, so there was no way to control when they were on or off.... if the wheels were spinning the lights would be on.

Anyone know of another brand that does anything like this? Seems like a cool concept, but only if you could control when the lights are on and off. And a little more off topic, because the wheels cost as much as a base model '07 CE, but has everyone seen the PimpStar Rims?
