Camry & Solara LoungeDiscussion area for every generation of Toyota's family car, the Toyota Camry. Lexus ES250/300 owners welcome! Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance and more.
With the Camry forums soon to be split we will require a few more mods.
We are somewhat undecided in the mod discussions as to who they should be since there are so many good members to choose from.
For this reason we have decided to leave it up to the members to nominate who they think would be a good mod and YES you can nominate yourself.

I nominate Supergoop for a Gen. 6 mod. He is level headed, and has been a good contributor.

I don't support going by gens because Gen4 kids are pretty much the same as Gen3. As well, each gen of Camry has it's DIY guys that are amazing at the stuff they come up with. If we are stuck in our perspective gens, we'll miss out on the cheeky shenanigans of our fellow Camry owners
If nominated, I promise to be fair and balanced (Fox) and the common threads of CAI vs. SRI, filter brands, oil brands, etc. I'd like to have a nice sticky for all that. Why have the same thread pop up ten times a month when a sticky will solve it? Make sure to advertise the turbo 5SFTE sticky so we don't get the common "can I put a turbo on my camry?" thread. I'm all for streamlining the forum to make it have less drag and be more aerodynamic.
....and if "you vote for me, all your wildest dreams will come true".

I wouldn't mind being a mod for the gen3s if nobody objects.
I'm no expert at hardcore engine/tranny work, but I've been around for a long time and done enough things myself to know enough about just about everything else to do with the car.

Old Dood would make a fine mod for Gen 6, The Newest Generation! Moderated by the OLDER Generation!...Plus he's fair, and level headed!..I've never seen him post in anger!
