I am going to change out the plugs in my Gen 5 Camry, is it a good idea to reset the ecu after I do?

how many miles do you have on it? If you don't have 100,000 miles then u can still keep your original plugs.

^Incorrect, changing plugs is not an issue of milage. You should always check your plugs from time to time. Plugs can go to shit at 60,000 even. There's no set interval for changing plugs.

As far as the original question, I don't think there is any reason to reset the ECU, but it couldn't hurt to do it.

Actually I have almost 80K on the car, the plugs have about given up the ghost and Toyota service said they still recommend changing at 60K due to "todays" driving in city and stand still rush hours .......go figure

I just picked them up, went back with NGK LASER IRIDIUM (original) even though they had to have them brought in.....$29 for 4 of them.......as far as the reset goes, I may just wait and see....
