Steering pulling right and left

I replaced the struts and mounts and had a 4-wheel alighnment. I did this because of the wear patterns on the tires. If I take a right turn before going straight, the car has a slight pull to the right. If I take a left turn before going straight, the car has a slight pull to the left. It is like the steering will not go back to center on its own. I did not notice this before replacing the struts.

Any suggestions are appreciated. This is a 93 Camry, 4-cyl., 180k miles.

Thanks

changing the struts shouldn't make the steering do that- especially if you had a 4 wheel alignment afterwards

and how bad is the problem? and as well, have you had your steering rack checked?

The pull is not real bad?? The rack was leaking so I had it replaced about two years ago.

If you used a stock type strut and mount the steering should remain the same. Too much Toe-Out in the front wheel alignment will cause the car to want to enter a turn and stay there. Go back to the alignment shop and demonstrate your problem to them.

also for shouts and laughs, check your tie rod ends. you may want to take the car back to the place that did the alignment and have them correct the problem. it obviously wasn't aligned properly if its pulling like that.

Agreed, especially if it wasn't doing this while you were driving to the alignment shop, after replacement of the struts.
