I have a 94 Camry with the V6 (1MZFE). I have a code for a bad oxygen sensor in bank 1 sensor 1. Thanks to this forum, I know where it is (rear of the engine), but I am not sure which sensor to get. Denso makes two sensors, one for "left" and one for "right", with different part numbers here. I assume I want the right one, but I wanted to double check with you guys before I spend $100 on the wrong one. Are they interchangable? (The cheapest place I've found, oxygensensors.com, only carries P/N 234-4622 which is for the left.)

I don't see a right and left listed. Just two required in front and 1 in back of the converter.
I saw that site, and it is the cheapest place to buy the sensor that I have found, but you you look at the Denso website http://www.densoaftermarket.com/cata...TA&model=CAMRY , they list two separate part numbers for "left" and "right" - 234-4622 for left, which is what is listed at the site you linked to, and 234-4623 for the right. As far as I can tell from the pictures, they look to be identical, but the fact that the part numbers are different worries me some...

I also have a 94 V6 Camry with 242,640 miles. I have now replaced all three of the O2 sensors. I replaced the after cat sensor @ 173,000 miles, the back bank sensor @ 236,200 miles and the front bank sensor @ 241,520 miles. I replaced the Toyota OEM sensors with a Bosch O2 sensor, $85 @ AutoZone. The Bosch sensor is a universal type and you must cut and splice the OEM wire harness onto the new Bosch sensor.

As long as the length of the oxygen sensor is not too short you are ok if you get the
brand even if they are different part number. What matter is as long as the connectors
fit the oxygen sensor is ok. My mechanic replaced my wife Honda Civic 2 oxygen sensors
which according to some aftermarket stores both have different part numbers. I bought the same oxygen sensor made by NTK (NGK) that had the same part number. In other words the manufacturers charge sometimes more for one if it is even a few more inches longer or shorter but in fact the only difference is the connectors and length. (Hence the different
part number and price gouge)
Thanks for the help guys! I ended up buying the sensor linked to by njerald, as it was the cheapest OE Denso, and it looks like the left O2 sensor has a longer wire anyway.
