head light problem

I just cant figure out what to do with this darn thing. Ok, sometimes when i turn my head lights on or start my car...my drivers side head light will not turn on. But when i pop the hood and turn the socket just a little it turns right on. Well could this be a short, fuse, bulb going bad? I just dont know. Its only been doing it for a couple of days, but i am sick of always haveing to pop the hood to get it to work. Thanks for your suggestions.

Sounds like you have something funny in the wire that connects the bulb to the whatever is connected on the other end of that wire. But, my bet would be on the wiring.
not related, but my laptop's adaptor used to do that.

inspect the harness for signs of corrosion.

bad connection somewhere. Have fun trying to isolate it

If u find out what the source of the problem is post it, i have the same problem on the passenger side.
