All of you out there with custom CAI's

I have had one for a few months. So far so good,but it rains pretty hard here in FL and I am paranoid about water getting into the engine. My CAI starts in the space in front of the front driver side wheel. Has anyone had problems with this issue? Or do I have to drive through a 6 inch deep puddle for anything to be effected?

yes...you literally have to drive through inches of standing water to get hydrolocked

there are even stories of people going through huge puddles where the water splash clears the hood and get hydro locked that way

I've had my cai for over 2 years now, and I run it all year round with no problems or scares


if you're really paranoid, you can always pick up a by-pass valve
