Cool about lower springs

Hi all,

Do I need extra kits for Eibach(1.0 lower), H&R(about 1.5 lower), or Intrax (about 1.75 lower) lower springs ?
Price are pretty much close for these, and seems they are good, too.

I have kyb GR 2 installed now, and wondering which spring I should get.

thanks in advance.

There aren't any additional "kits" needed. If prices are similar, it's a matter of deciding what kind a drop you want. My only suggestion would be to stay away from Intrax due to debatable quality.

i am going to be getting the eibach/tokico setup. i just bought the springs and am now saving up for the tokico blues. according to everything i have read and the people i have tallked to, the eibachs drop the car just enough and provide a stiffer ride but nothing too harsh, and are very close to OEM ride.
if you want more of a drop go with the H&R. the ride will be much stiffer and you will feel a lot more bumps, but nothing too major.
i don't know much about the intrax...so i can't really comment there.
i live in dallas too...i haven't seen too many fixed up camrys around.
i have a black '99 i-4 ... doesn't look like much now since i am custom painting my new BBS rims i am just riding around on steelies and aside from a K&N Drop-in and a custom grounding kit under the hood, i am focusing on suspension mods. i have the TRD Front strut bar and the TRD Rear sway bar and that combo has made a huge difference already so i can only imagine what the new springs/struts will do
i autocross with my boyfriend in his white '96 integra and i will be autocrossing my camry next month...so maybe i'll see you around sometime

Later,
Keri

You shouldnt need a camber kit, its just an option. There are also those new vogland springs that supposedly have a better ride than eibach and a lower drop. Im waiting to see how people like them once they settle

intrax is not debatable it is just crap they do not heat coil their springs and shot peen as others do
this causes the spring to sag and lose its resiliance to keep ride height and quality
camber kits are for anything over 1.5 inches anything up to should be ok

JIC makes some, but they have to be special import from Japan. Those are full coil overs, not just sleaves.

The only coilovers that would be reasonably priced would be the fake coilover systems, like the ground control. Save your money. GC is garbage.

You won't need camber correction kits on the eibach.

I believe for the gen 3 camry, the drop would be 1.2" and not 1".
