Guys Im new and I need help

Hey Hows everyone doing today?

My question is how much do you think it would cost to get a front bumper cover replaced on a 2000 camry? Someone hit me without insurance and now I have to pay for it. Only the Bumper has a large dent in the corner. Anyone give me a real rough estimate of how much a new one installed with new paint would be? thank s a ton. I'll be taking it to a body shop later but Im stuck at work and would like a very rough guess from you guys.

Check Ebay for the bumper.

did the bumper only dent in? or did it also crack?

how's the paint on it? did the paint crack, or did it bend inwards along with the dent?

if it's only a dent, and the paint didn't crack, then you can just take your bumper cover off and push it back out (slowly, and a slight heat from a heat gun may help- but not too much heat though).

if the paint is cracked, but it's just a dent, same deal, but go get it painted after

if all's borken, you can always pick up an aftermarket plastic bumper for a bit over a 100bucks or off of ebay and then get it painted- paint should usually cost around the 200 range

first quote is $650...new bumper paint and labor. 275 bumper 275 labor and 100 for paint. does this seem right?

depends....if the bumper is oem polyurethane, then sure...and labor/paint should be one price...paint for 100 would be cheap if it doesn't mean just the cost of the paint, and 275 is too much for labor

but if that's a dealer price, then it's reasonable

if that is a quote from the dealer, that sound right. Might be able to get it down to about $600. I was quoted about $600 for rear bumper @ dealership

i got rear ended and the dealer wanted to repalce the bumper (I was happy cos it;s not my fault).

Went to a body shop, it was like 50$ cheaper.

It ended up that the insurance company talked the dealer into sanding down the scratches and did not replace it. Work is OK but still a small buckle at the edge.
$37x paid by insurance co for sanding and paint
