3rd Generation Blown bulb indicator light one...but all bulbs work??

A few weeks ago I noticed that my indicator light for a burnt out bulb came one. Very rarely it'll be off but for the most part it's always on. All bulbs work, including my interior bulbs. Is there anything that could be specifically causing this? It just erks me that it's on and I know everything works.

this happens with mine before one of the tail lights goes out. i usually have this warning consistantly for several weeks until the light goes out for good. apparently before the bulb goes out, it draws power differently enough to turn the indicator light on.

or it could be a loose grounds somewhere in the rear lights- a common problem in the gen3s as they get older it seems

most of us just pull the bulb

Thanks for the imput guys. I checked all the bulbs again and the 3rd brake light bulb is burnt out. I guess ghettosled was correct, it came on just before it blew. I'm gonna get a new bulb tomorrow and hopefully it stays off.
