Question AWD vs. VCS & TRAC with EBD

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on this. I get the the AWD thing. I just don't understand the other stuff. I know the 03 Camry's have VCS & TRAC Traction Control with EBD as an option. I'm not really sure how it works though. Does anyone have this feature, and does it work? I like camry's, but this is always been a concern in the back of my mind. Is it a matter of AWD vs. FF with this other stuff or is it really dependent on driving practices?

What are your thoughts on the Camry vs. Bad Weather conditions and what so you guys do when your faced with a couple inches of rain or snow?

Thanks

VSC is a system that monitors wheel speed, steering angle, and vehicle yaw. Basically it knows what way you are going, and what way you want to go, if the two don't match it makes corrections by cutting you fuel and braking individual wheel. It works very well at low and medium speeds on slick roads.

The Camry uses a Denso made system (under licencing from Bosch). Once you start to slide it will keep you from getting into worse shape and usually correct your condition. It will keep you from spinning out and keeps the front of your car headed the direction you want to go.

It basically the same system used by BMW, and Mecedes. It's a bit of a pricey option, but if you live where you get snow, it can be quite usefull.

It is much more effective for maintaining control on slick roads than AWD. AWD will give better traction.

EBD is standard on all 03 Camrys except I4 LE and SE. There its an option. TRAC is coupled with VSC and available only as an option and only on the V6 Trims.
