tachometer wire?

Can anyone help me find the tachometer wire? I thought it was the B-O behind the instrument panel, but doesn't seem to be the right one.
My multimeter doesn't pick up on AC signals less than 200 very well.

I can only assume that your putting in an aftermarket tach. I looked into it and i didnt like the look if it. I went out and got a used intrument panel that already had a tach. As for the wire, best way to find out is to get a Haynes or Chiltons manual that has the wiring diagrams in them. What generation is yours? If its 2nd gen, I can look it up in my book.
