94 camry ac

i bought a 4cyl camry with out working ac.sometime a charge works ;it didn't(ac compressor wont come on,light is on dashboard.want to test if compressor is shot.usually you can short the pressure switch on the drier.i unpluged this, which causes both fans to blow full spreed, and i notice 4 wires, not the two that are seen on older cars, anyone know which two energize the compressor circuit?

The compressor is engaged by a magnetic clutch. In most cases you should see one wire running from the compressor harness plug to the front clutch area. This is the wire that needs to be energized. One wire from the plug should go to ground. The other two wires go to the speed sensor. This may be underneath the compressor, somewhere in the middle of the case. If you look, you should be able to follow the four wires to their source.

the lite in the button will blink and disable the compressor if it energized and the speed sensor sees that it is stopped, its a safety feature to keep a locked up compressor from smoking the belt off it, the sensor on the dryer is for the fans and hi pressure compressor cut off, i have a gen2 and there is no lo side switch
