madrial bent piping

Where do all of you get your mandrial bent piping for your custom cat back exhaust? Most shops cant get it done there, they bend it themselves so, i really need to know were to go to get it mandrial bent. Thanks

sorry guys, i live in Wisconsin, near madison. Well around here all i know of is local shops that can bend piping but it will not be mandrial bent. Hope this helps you out a little. Sorry again

I looked up the sites on that thread. What gauge steel would you recommend for a custom CAI. What makes 16 different from 18.

just a thought
but you may not want to do any cai out of steel
it is heavy
rigid if in one peice and extremley transferable for heat
a real negative for a cai
also it may weigh 15-20 pounds depending on length
use pvc piping or aluminum weight is much less
costs more for aluminum of course

the gauge is the thickness of the metal the lower the number the thicker it is
(no idea who made the measurement up)
thicker would be better as it would take more heat to transfer to the intake air but it would also stay very hot longerunless you get it coated in ceramics or use heat wrap
