oil in the distributor

94 camry, I know the O-ring around the dist. to head can leak but I didnt think that would get oil in the dist. Is there a seal around the spinning shaft that can be replaced? thx. Oh-yea 4 cyl with internal coil.

2nd Generation Distributor seal kits for 89 2VZFE engine?

Same prob as I have, oil leaking through the seal into dist.
I checked kbox for kits for earlier Gen2 V6.. didn't find any.

Maybe 88LE knows of a source for 89's with V6 produced after June.89.

After checking on distributor prices, I wanted to pull the bearings/seal and go around looking for replacements! Those are excellent kit prices at kBox, considering you get the dist. and cap "O" rings too!
thanx

Do not use a hammer to remove the pin and shaft. There are magnets in the disy and they'll crack.
I got the shaft seal and bearing also. I can install them if you're in Canada.

Thank you for the help. That kit shows a round dist cap gasket and mine with the internal coil has a rectangular jagged dist cap gasket which is broke. The plastic coil dust cover also broke when i was trying to remove it. Is there a chance that somewhere there could be a kit like that for my 94 camry w/internal coil?
