turbo 2nd gen pics

Hey, I finally got everything up and running in my car. It's a 3sgte manifold with garrett t3 turbo. I decided to go with a turboxs blow off valve because I'll only be running 10 pounds of boost. For fuel control I'm using a vortech fmu set at 10:1; damn not having a MAP sensor. On the interior I also added an A-pillar gauge pod with boost gauge and oil pressure, and by my cigarrette lighter an air/fuel ratio gauge. The only bad thing is now that I finally got everything together my mom's making me sell the car before I go to college. So I'll be selling the turbo kit, the engine, or the whole car. Check this thread http://www.camryclub.org/forums/show...&threadid=7733

So here's the pics

interior
engine

got any questions email me [email]bgriffey@qnet.com[/email

you certainly think highly of your motor's durability.... dont expect it to last long.

but at least you'll have boost for a while.

Everything looks nice. Props for the custom work. I'm sure someone will take that custom beauty off your hands.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the blue spark plug wires. I need some new ones and can only find red at the dealership or black ones anywhere else. Thanks.

To compensate I put in chromoly rings and don't run 10 pounds all the time, just when I'm racing. I run 5 while just riding around, and considering that the 3sgte runs 7 pounds on 9:1 compression I can run 5 pounds on 9.3:1 with chromolies pretty confidently.

They're NGK low resistance spark plug wires. I got them from nopionline.com

When running 5 pounds I retard the timing 5 degrees. With 10 pounds I retard it 7.

Are you retarding the base timing, or are you using a boost sensitive ignition system?

Base timing, haven't gotten around to putting any extras on my car and since I'm selling the car/turbo kit I haven't gotten into it.

Well, I have talked my mom into letting me keep my car!!! Although if someone wants to give me 3k for it I'll still give it away. I'm actually designing a water/air intercooler for my car. Having the ability to hold ice and just a regular air.

The 3s-gte is actually 8.8:1 compression stock or 8.5:1 on 3rd gen.
