Hey guys help me out.What is torque steer ? im pretty sure a guy like tony the tiger will know,Anyone know ?

It's when you start to turn just from pressing on the gas in a front wheel drive car. Same motion as when you launch on an icy road and the front end sort of slides to the side.

it means you need better engine mounts, lsd, and a better set of rubber too :p

Torque steer is what happens in a front wheel drive whan you step hard on hte gas and because only one tire drives the car the side that is driving tends to push the steering in the opposite direction. Our 2000 echo has almost no torque steer, it also has no power heh. My 89 GTS is another matter however, I *really* have to hang on to the steering wheel if I engage the supercharger and give it the gas in the lower gears. I can almost judge how much HP the car is making any particular day by how hard I have to fight the torque steer.

even that doesnt help me when TheWraith launches... I have torque steer all the way down the 1/4mile...

Or find a LSD. (word of warning though) There are a couple of folks in my sportscar club who have limited slip differentials and they seem to go through trannies. It seems that extra wheel hookup is all it take to break the threshold. The torque steer is greatly reduced and how they come out of the corners is nothing short of spectacular.
