I have a 90 camry DX. Can I put a newer(95 -2001) factory double din (CD/Cassette/Radio)in it? My radio now just uses the top pocket with lower one empty. I believe the wiring harnesses are the same. I would like to be able to have CD and cassette in the easier solution. Sound is not a big deal, it's a work car and gets mostly books on tape/cd, unfortunatley.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I've never been in a gen 2 so I don't know what your double din looks like... but I don't think you should have a problem making the fit. Just measure beforehand to make sure.

When you pull out the factory deck, its bolted to a set of brackets, the little shelf underneath the deck is bolted to these as well, so pop them both out, and mount the new radio on the brackets...no problemo...
