Lock Nut socket? Help!

Hey guys,

I am not getting much resposes to my question in the Gen 5 forum, hence posting it here.

I got a 02 Camry XLE toyota certified in MD (I am in NC).

After coming back to NC, I found that the socket for the lock nut on the weeks is missing ?

I am going to try to contact the dealer and ask him to send it to me but if that fails whats the option?

thanks

i wuld like to think that the dealer can remove the nut. were the locking lug nuts a dealer option or did they come with the vehicle? if they came with the vehicle, i would guess there's a code on them, much like the key to your car. based on your VIN, the dealer can pull up and cut you another key for your car. perhaps they can order another identical locking nut socket based on your VIN. just a thought.

Call around to tire shops, they most likely have run into this before. If OEM locks that came with the car, call a Toyota dealer.
