Warm weather....

Since the weather was so nice here in Toronto yesterday and today, I:

1. Installed my new KVR brake pads.
2. Repainted my calilpers and rotors.
3. Fix some wiring for my head unit.
4. Fixed my indiglos (wiring came loose)
5. Rewired an LED for my sub.
6. Removed excess wiring from my gauges.
7. Changed a light bulb for my foglight.
8. Installed new amp.
9. Vacuumed interior.
10. Fixed shifter and shifter bulb.

Just happy that it's FINALLY getting warm here!

What's everyone else doing for spring maintenance?

I need to wash the car inside and out, get a new trunk lightbulb (haven't had one for like 5 years!), I'd like to replace the front bumber and right mirror but it's not really worth it since neither affect the function of the car. Maybe I'll order a replacement grille off ebay cause mine is cracked, I guess the only color to get on ebay is black, don't know how that would look next to my light green/blue/silver (it's been called each of those on tickets and such) paint.

-Last weekend: Washed and waxed the car. Shop-vac job inside, nothing crazy 'cause I'm tearin' it all apart in three weeks anyway. Took 6 pics inside and out. Damn she was lookin' fine... then...
-Friday night: FINALLY put on gen2 v6 rims on Bridgestone Insignia SL tires. Not the greatest rim or tire, but they make the car look way more, well, mature; I never liked the Wal-Mart kickons but they were better than bare steel wheels.
-Saturday afternoon: Washed it again, what the hell) Took 7 more pics this weekend (perhaps I have OCD on the camera but new rims + clean car = photo time!)
-Coming up- Visiting the engine with a bottle of Simple Green. I watched my dad use this stuff on his Mustang and at full strength... this stuff works man! Interior trim is going to be custom-pained bright silver metallic (I wanted blue but it's perhaps a little too ricey for me; silver looks a little more Euro-trash like and matches the exterior of the car better, on top of that my radio faceplate is silver so it should blend in well). This week I'm also getting a tach; not sure what type yet but it'll be a smaller one (like 3 3/8" max )
That's all... I think... I want to get mudflaps for the front and a new lower frt. valence, either one from the '90-'91 Cams (larger opening) or a v6 (nice one-piece plastic job). Also I need to lay down some new pinstripe... patience, grasshopper

Within the last two weeks:
1) Installed switch for power antenna
2) Started work on a custom panel to mount the switch (Should be finished this morning)
3) Washed car
4) Thought about all the stuff I'd like to do to this car but don't have the money for

Within the next week:
1) Install new Y-pipe, as there is a hole in mine and it sounds like ass
2) Try to get more money

On saturday i got out the turtle wax and buffed that b1tch up.
It was looking pimped, i could use my hood as a mirror. Then i go inside to have some dinner, and it starts pissing rain! It rained for about 2 minutes then stopped! Boy was i pissed! hehehe.
But i found out i'm gettign back 900$ for my income tax, so i think a new set of rims/summer tires is up my alley
