Lightbulb Molding #2

Whoops, didnt mean to duplicate.

Since i have it up again, I only want to mold the rear of the kit on to the car. If that helps.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Lightbulb Body Kit Molding Help

Hey guys.

This is question for guys who know about body work.

I am getting another full bodykit and I am planning on getting it painted a month after I buy so I have plenty of time to work on it.

So my question is. I am going to practice doing some fiberglass work on my pillar for a triple gauge pod. Since my Kit is also fiberglass would I be able to mold the kit into the body with the fiberglass. Or should I bondo it. I did some body work on my buddies Chevelle back in high school so I have a pretty good idea. Which would be easier and last longer. Or should I just not worry about it.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Hey Sean-

I am looking at ways to put three gauges on my 96 Camry pillar as well (boost, EGT and oil pressure). Which pod are you trying to mold in? I was looking at either molding 1/2 of a 2-gauge pod to a full 2-gauge pod or using a 3-gauge pod from Lotek for the 90-93 Celica...assuming it's a close fit.

I already molded a 2-gauge pod onto my trim. If the 3-gauge pod from Lotek is close, then I can make it work. Just got to find out how close the 90-93 Celica trim is to the 96 Camry's.
