need help, black smoke at idle....

when my car is at idle, the rngine runs fine but the exhust chugs out black puffs of smoke. i recently added the CAI and now it has this problem. Could it still be the idle speed? Also i had a oil change like a week ago...could this have anything to do with it?

problems with car right now:
cv boot craked
radiator leaks
oil pan gasket leaks

would these affect the smoke? i dont think so. also my gas seems to be used faster with the new CAI (maybe cause i been running it harder)

this "cugging" of intermitent puffs of smoke smell like oil/gas and is really bad at redlights and such. also my car seems to pull itself and delay while coasting.(kinda like tug of war comming to a red light) kinda hard to explain. could air flow meters or some type of sensors be causing this problem?

btw im go a new radiator just need to put it in and the gasket isnt hard to fix right?

Black gas means you are running rich. Go under the hood and pull the EFI fuse for at least 90 seconds and then put it back in and run the engine at idle for 5 minutes without touching anything. Doing this will relearn the computer and might help it run better.

black smoke only means it is running rich if it is a diesel engine not gas
it means it is burning oil instead

no, black is rich, blue is oil

if its only at iddle you might want to pull out your iddle control needle servo motor thingy,

its on the side of the throttle body, pull that out, clean it up, maybe its stuck in full open position, might have to replace it, time to go to the scrap yard!

you might want to get a bottle of throttle body cleaner, spray that in there, clean up your throttle and stuff around it

Do a compression and leakdown test.

It sounds like your piston rings are worn and your getting blowby. Which explains why its smoking so badly.
