Cool v6 Oil Level Warning For All

In several v6 mr2 swaps. We've noticed that when using the stock oil levels; abrupt, or sustained cornering will un-cover the oil pick-up pipe. That will leave you sucking nothing but air until the G forces are relaxed. A word to the wise of anyone doing actual racing on a transaxle v6's...

Chalk up the small power loss & over-fill a quart of oil if you value the engine. (Or take the pita way out & extend the oil pick-up tube deeper into the pan)

seems like some sound advice

the only question that I pose about this problem though is about when the (I presume it's the 1mz) engine is in the camry/solara, I've never heard of such a problem.

I presume that it is because the deuce can pull more Gs than our cars ever can?

The angle of mounting is still relatively the same, because they bolt in only needed one mount. I would chalk it up to "MR2 owners are more prone to going on a race track to beign with". Its happening on the long sweeping corners.
Yes, it's happening on the 1mz's. Nothing said about a 3vz/5vz or the one 2gr-fe swapped.

But it's still sound advice owners of the v6's should probably heed.
