Monitor it for a while. Drive the car in the city and also give 'er on the highway and see if it comes back on. If it does not, then I don't think you'll have to worry.

But that being said, keep track of your gas mileage to see if there are any drastic changes... if so then you might want to have that sensor replaced.

Do you know if it was the upstream of downstream sensor?

This will make a big difference. The upstream will make your gas mileage go down, but the downstream really does not matter that much. In other words you dont have to change it if you dont want to if it is the downstream sensor. The light will just keep going on and off if you do not change it. But thats better then spending the extra money i think. Your choice

hey guys

Thanks for responding.. Its the upstream 02 sensor ( the one infront of the CAT) Because my gas milage was horrible.. but now it seems to have returned to normal.. its only been a few days though.. so I'm hoping for the best..

I actually had another question about gas milage.. I have an INjen intake.. Should I change the cone filter? or just clean it.. if so how would I go about cleaning it??

Thanks again guys

Some people just use an air compresser and spray it with air, others i have herd use water and run water through it to clean it, of course let it dry before use. But its really your choice. Im not sure how well the injen flow. But i am glad that you figured out that it was your upstream sensor. I would recommend replacing it eventually, it will just turn on again after a while.

Just clean the filter.

You can use the K&N cleaning kit (comes with a bottle of cleaner and oil). I've seen it for $10 at Autozone.

Follow the instructions that come with the cleaning kit.

Don't use compressed air cos it destroys the cotton guaze in the filter. Use a brush instead to brush off any lose dirt.
