1994 I4 stalling: torque converter solenoid

I have a 1994 I4 Camry that has begun to stall on deceleration. After searching the
forum the symptom appears to be due to the lock-up solenoid for the torque converter
not releasing once engaged. Threads do not give much information about location of
TCC solenoid. I have downloaded the shop manuals (tranny and engine) and find that
2 solenoids (1st and 2nd gear) are located inside the tranny housing. I'm still not sure
where TCC solenoid is located. Can any one help, of direct me to proper pages in
manual for TCC solenoid replacement.

BTW no CEL codes occur.

Thanks,
DGC

On the 1995 I4, there appears to be a solenoid behind the shift arm on the transmission. This is the arm where the shift cable attaches. It was referenced as the torque converter shift solenoid.

The lock-up solenoid also seems to be referred to as the SL solenoid on other Toyota trans.
