silly question

not sure if anyone can help me with an 85 camry, and im probably stupid for asking, but im having trouble pulling the driver side interior door panel out. window fell off track so i need to get in to fix it. dont have power windows though, and its the rotary arm to roll the window up or down that im having trouble getting off the panel. that seems to be all thats holding it in place at this point. anyone know how i get that window handle off? all the other cars i have had either unscrewed or had an obvious bolt to remove to take it off, and doesnt seem to be the case here, but im sure its something simple im missing.

thanks if anyone has time to answer me.

put a medium sized towel between the arm and the trim and underneath the barrel where it enters the trim. grab either end of the towel from above, and slowly using a sawing motion, work it off.

Theres a metal clip that holds the window crank to a splined metal shaft. The clip is behind the window crank.

Use 2 flat bladed screwdrivers (one on each end of the clip).
