There was a big thread that was started a while back. Use the search function to find it. I asked the same question last time...

I checed that thred and it had some promising information....that one should use a 90-93 celica shortshifter....and that it would be better to get it at TWN than TRD. So naturally I searched for twn, and all I got was a porn site, which is nice and all but I need car parts. Anyone got a link I could go to to order this stuff?

I can get you one, however its not a "perfect" fit. Talk to ratko on these boards to make sure.

Don't buy with TWM unless you plan to put your original shifter on it..

Here are some pics of what I have done and the result is the same as the TWM shifter, but for FREE

If you compare the TWM shifter vs. the stock one, you'll see that cutting the shifter like I've done, is the same thing.

To the best of my knowledge, cutting the shifter is not the same as a short shifter. Hacking the shifter just decreases the height, while a short shifter actually decreases the angle of the throw. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.

True

But from what I saw of the TWM shifter, compared to mine, there is no major differences

To be honest I don't want to cut my shifter...would rather spend the money and do it right. My buddy has a short shifter in his 240sx and it is hella sweet....I want the real deal not some half-assed attempt at a short shifter. 90-91 celica? Direct fit?
