Why do you need one? The stock one is fine.

I don't have a system in my car but I guarantee you I run more power from my alt. than a lot of people here. Sitting at an emergency scene with the car running and all my emergency equipment on(10 strobes, radio, siren, spotlight) for hours on end is hell on my alt, haven't had to replace it yet.

That said, I have no clue where you can get a heavy duty one that will fit your car.

Only quad during daylight hours, when your lights are off. A good capacitor will also help.

cap doesn't help with the dimming....it only makes sure that the bass comes on at the exact right moment and doesn't have to wait for more power to get to the amp when needed....

eh...too bad it wasn't that easy.....

165 amps that sure is a shit load
and i mean it in, if you belived the person selling it that it actuallly is 165 amps
my stock for a v6 is 80 amps ( factory manuals)
i have seen( at a rebuilder ) and been told ( by every other rebuilder in toronto )rewinding will add 5-15 amps at the most as there is very little extra room in imports to put more wire

how you got one that is doubled in amperage is impossible but they do sell anything on ebay
too bad you didn't research it first
then again what the hell besides a full spl truck as in 40 plus speakers ( not car )
would need that much

the cap like mentioned will only help for spikes in increased amperage instantly which help for bass too keep the amp from bottoming out
