mandrel bend pipes

Does anyone know if there's an exhaust shop around Buffalo, NY or New York City where they do mandrel bend pipes?? I'm getting HKS muffler 60mm piping, that's about 2.4 inches. I called all over the place in Buffalo and none of them have that type of machine and the only place that has mandrel pipes say that they order it from shops and they don't make it for my car. I searched NYC in yahoo but no luck. Did anyone get theirs done?

The reason why I'm going custom is because no one makes exhaust systems for my car. I tried Greddy and they stopped making it for my year. The evolution only fits 99 and newer camrys.

Would I need to purchase pipes from them? if so, what sizes and which ones would I need for my exhaust system... I will be getting HKS muffler that's 60 mm (2.4 inches) piping diameter. Would the muffler shops be able to connect them all together w/o the mandrel bending machine?

yes you would need to buy the piping from them, thats what you asked and thats what he is tellin you.

as far as the sizing, stay with the 60mm you have now so its the same as your muffler and manifold and what not.

the muffler shops shouldnt have to bend anything if you get it from a reputable company but if they needed to bend something a little bit i am sure. They should only have to weld it together weld it.

but good luck getting the piping bent perfectly, if you order piping it may not fit right. so it would still be better to have it custom bent. but what i dont understand is why you want to replace your piping. your stock is roughly the same size. you will see maybe 1-2 horse max and allot of money wasted.

stay with your stock pipes and get a muffler. and one last time, for future referance, the EVO setup will fit your car, who cares if its a 99 year fitment its all the SAME. ok. but you have a 4cyl and it is for a 6CYL. end of story.
