Has the "T" on the trunk on the SE's always been chrome, while the others black? That is so retarded... its looks incredibly dumb. I never noticed that before.....

Yeh, never noticed that either. For a moment there at the car show I thought someone had jacked the Black Pearl Toyota logo, and they put a chrome one temporarily until my g/f pointed out to me that all were the same.

Not sure why they did that. Seen other black pearl emblems on other cars with the Toyota logo in the black pearl too (notably on some Solaras).

I've been considering trying to get the black Toyota logo for my car, since that's the only badge I have left on the back.
