spark plugs change

hi,
i haven't replaced a spark plug so far.
i got NGK OEM plugs (laser platinum) and ngk wire set.

what size spark plug wrench should i buy? it is a 4 cylinder, so everything is pretty much right in front. also, how do i take a wire connection out, both on top of plug and in the distributor (?) box?

is there any step by step anywhere?

Not sure about the 01 camry, But I am told that in 02 camry and later, the original plugs are good for 100 K miles

The service and on-line maintenance manuals state to change the plugs at 60K to maintain the emission warranty. Although the OEM plugs can easily go 100K.

Remove the spark plug wire boot by pulling up only on the boot end (not the wire). They should pop out. Use a plug socket with a rubber gasket to grip it as you pull it out of the spark plug tube plus an extension. When reinstalling the new plugs apply a little anti-seize compound to the spark plug threads. Torque to 13 lb-ft.

The other end of the ignition wire should be held into the coil by a plastic snap built into the end of the wire terminal.

If your car is 97 or newer, you have no distributor. Judging by your name, you have a 01.

You can also put some dielectric grease on the rubber where it will contact the plug. This will prevent some sticking.

My engine (my car is in my signature) requires a 5/8" plug socket.
