hey, just wanted to know if this is a good intake kit. good quality? Does anyone have one like this installed?
I just want to replace the air box, for now.
i have a 92 v6.

Had one, it was ok. Didnt do much but make noise. But i suppose that it may have helped some, just of course not noticeable. For 25 bucks why not. Give her a shot, i would wait till CTM gets their cold air done though, or go with a custom cold air. doesnt cost much to make a custom cold air.

Even if you wanted to make a CAI later on, you're still going to need that adaptor piece so you might as well buy it. The filter is one of those generic Taiwanese brands...low quality and low price.

no, no trouble install, i had to make a custom bracket so that it just did not hand there, but silver streak is right to make a custom it is alot easier to have that piece. I started with the ram air like you bought and made mine into a cold air, i like it alot more now. I quess i will have to see if my time show any improvement with the cold air rather then the ram air. Last summer i ran with the ram air and well lets just say it wasnt what i was expecting. But back to your question, it is easy and if you dont have a bracket to hang it then you may have to make something. Good luck
