Lightbulb Super long life transaxle fluid

I have a 2002 Camy XLE, 2.4cyl. Just had my 90k service and the dealer told me the transaxle fluid & filter do not need to be changed because they are "Super Long Life" and it should be changed at 120K. My maint schedule didn't mention anything about that.
Has anyone else had that experience ? is that true ?

I thought changing the long life fluid was based on fluid color (red to black). The dealer was supposed to have a color chart. Keeping clean and unadulterated fluid in the transmission is one of the most important items for long transmission life. I would change it sooner then later. This subject has come up many times on TN, a history search will find many hits.

I don't trust it - especially those "lifetime fluids" which I think are good for the lifetime of the warranty.

Follow Toysrme's advice. I flush my fluid out every 30000mi.
