Question manual transaxle fluid

My wife owns a '95 camry. It has a manual tranny. The manual transaxle fluid has never been changed. Can anyone tell me which bolt is the drain?? Should I even bother since the car has close to 100,000 miles on it??

I took a look under the car, and I see the transaxle, but can't decide which bolt(s) is the drain and fill plugs.

Please describe the location on the transaxle, in detail and tell me the size of the bolt head.........

Any help will be greatly appreciated....

if it were me id remove the whole pan, clean it out, change the filter if there is one, and replace the gasket, it might be a good idea to use redline trans fluid

What you described, trdcamry2003, is for an A/T, not for M/T.

Aypstony, there should be a 10mm hex bolt drain plug on the transaxle, and as what is written in my Haynes about filling:
1) The manual transaxle does not have a dipstick. To check the fluid level, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. On the lower front side of the transaxle housing, you will see a plug. Remove it. If the lubricant level is correct, it should be up to the lower edge of the hole.
2) If the transaxle needs more lubricant, use a syringe or a gear oil pump to add more. Stop filling the transaxle when the lubricant begins to run out of the hole.
3) Install the plug and tighten it securely. Drive the vehicle a short distance, then check for leaks.

Torque setting on the manual transaxle drain and filler plugs is 36 ft-lbs. Manual transaxle needs about 2.7qts of API GL-3, GL-4, or GL-5 75W-90 gear oil.
