How to replace rear struts?!??!

I got this thing half apart now (92 camry) and I can't find access to the top plate of the strut. Am I stupid? It seems to be hidden under the rear window shelf thingy....
Can someone shed some light on this please?

yes, you have to take out most of the rear seat to get at it, and the panel with the rear speakers on it

Take out your rear panel as if you were going to replace your 6x9s. You will see the top strut mount bolted in by 3 bolts on each corner, the same as the front top strut mounts.
