Lol, he's asking if he can upload a sound file of what his car sounds like when it starts up.

and no, you cant attach sound files to a post. you need to upload it somewhere like putfile.com and then give a link for others to download it.

getting to the topic at hand, can you describe the noise your car is making? what year is the car? mileage? which motor?

rrkhh: if you want people to listen to a sound clip, you have to download it to putfile or even photobucket I think has that available. Then put the link of the clip in your post just like Tommy said.

the reason for our confusion stems from your sentence structure. you MEANT to say "hi, i have a sound i don't recognize when i start my car. i have an audio clip, how can i share this?"

this noise is only on cold starts.there is a RATTLING sound when started.lasts about 1/4 second.i bought car with 216,000 miles on it.had spun a bearing and was overhauled.the head was reworked,bottom got a new crank,one new piston rod,new piston rings,new water pump,new timing belt,new seals,gaskets... i'm thinking valves (do valves adjust with shims)
can valves go out of adjustment.....
