no idea what you're talking about...

and this is also in the wrong section, so I'm going to move it.

WTF are you rambling about? Startup of what? You want the admin to make our computers play an MP3 of your choosing when we log in to the forum, or what?

Are you insane?

Lol, he's asking if he can upload a sound file of what his car sounds like when it starts up.

and no, you cant attach sound files to a post. you need to upload it somewhere like putfile.com and then give a link for others to download it.

seriously - people need to grasp the concept of the English written language in an environment where your only form of communication is text.

Well I think first of all this should be in the camry forum... no?

rrkhh: if you want people to listen to a sound clip, you have to download it to putfile or even photobucket I think has that available. Then put the link of the clip in your post just like Tommy said.

the reason for our confusion stems from your sentence structure. you MEANT to say "hi, i have a sound i don't recognize when i start my car. i have an audio clip, how can i share this?"

correct?

Noise Sounds Like

this noise is only on cold starts.there is a RATTLING sound when started.lasts about 1/4 second.i bought car with 216,000 miles on it.had spun a bearing and was overhauled.the head was reworked, bottom got a new crank, one new piston rod,new piston rings, new water pump, new timing belt, new seals,gaskets... i'm thinking valves (do valves adjust with shims)
can valves go out of adjustment.....

THANKS robert
