Urgent Help Needed!!

So guys, I was SUPER DUMB today and I was trying to get my battery nut off to put on my power wire for my subs, and then i dropped the wrench over the positive and negative ends of the battery and...yeah...SPARKS AND SMOKE EVERYWHERE. I finally hit the wrench off with a broom handle. Everything in the car is working and it starts fine. What should I do? Are there any problems? Anything that I should get checked out? Thanks for any help I may get.

Re: Urgent Help Needed!!

Shorting your battery is the same as disconnecting it as far as the rest of your car is concerned (i.e. voltage drop). So no problems, except possibly your ECU or stereo if it has memory may reset.

It is just the battery and the wrench that may be damaged if you keep it shorted for too long
