USA Arrrgh, we're turning Japanese?

I found it funny that the last EPA ratings of cars has Asian Cars topping the list. Toyota ranks first with the Yaris and somehow I think the Kanmuri (Camry) made it in the top ten too. How bout that, 40mpg.

Camry's are just great. Currently it is the best selling car in the coutry- close to 350,481 units followed by another Toyota (Corolla) at 330,995.

I guess we are turning Japanese after all.

For now Camry just escaped the title "Japan's Buick"

what do you mean by we're turning japanese? a good car is a good car period.

if you read any history book, american car companies got over-confident in the 70's and 80's and stopped innovating. that's why they're pretty much in the situation they are now. id say it'll take at least a decade for GM, Ford, etc. to become competitive globally again. and that's only if they decide to get their butt in gear.

That's all? They generally sell over 400000 Camry per year in the US.
