Hey Guys I'm new here and I think this is a good thing going on here. I have been doing things to my Camry for about a year and never even thought of looking for a fourm on the camry. But not to rant I just got a new Speedometer cover, now last time I installed My indiglo guages My air bag light came on. I new this Toyota Tech who resest it for me with a few wires, but the @*$#^& wouldnt tell me how to do it I have great convidence in this forum that somebody out there could help me with this, An I bring to the table all I can tell you about audio and Video info, I have my own shop so I know a thing, Thanks
Tell that #$%@% tech guy off! Most likely you left your keys in the ignition while taking out your dash. Here's a thread on resetting the airbag light, and here's a copy of the factory manual on resetting airbag lights. It'll work for 92-96 Cams, possible 97 and up as well (not sure)... good luck and have fun on the boards!
Hey thanks for the info, so let me get this stright, if I don't leave my keys on when I change the cover on my speedo I shouldnt get the airbag light?, I dont have any current pictures on Camry suystems, but I'm doing mine up with space as a factor and keeping my interior as original as possible, I have a trip to California to do in a month, so My system should be done for show by then. Complete with and video set up(Purely for show) I dont care for monitors in cars except SUVs but in my industry you need to stay on the game to stay in it. Hey thanks again Henry

Yeah, I believe that's the problem. I've taken apart my indiglos like 10 times with no problems (didn't disconnect battery either). But the 3rd last time I did it, the light came on and I had the key in. Not that that proves anything, but I also read the key theory on another Toyota forum.
Hey Henry, that page scan looks a little familiar... ;-)
Ron, you should get some of the senior members here to hook you up with Basil at T-Lex. He will reset your airbag light at no charge.

Bringing back a dead thread, but where do I get one of those Toyota tester thingies?
