3rd gen and 4th gen soarers indeed came to the states in the form of first gen lexus sc (sc300 and sc400) and second gen lexus sc (sc430). the usdm sc300 had the 2jz-ge engine and the usdm sc400 had the 1uz-fe engine. the usdm sc430 had the 3uz-fe.
