The gen5 head unit may look a little funny since it's sort of an odd shape right (it looks a little bit curved to follow the flow of the dash).
If you want to keep your current radio, you can also install an in-dash cd player/changer. Compatibility varies depending on who made your current unit. Your local stereo shop will also have harnesses that allow your current tape head unit to control an aftermarket cd changer.
