I Have a Project to Discuss

I'm new here, and thus far it looks like an excellent site, and the reason I came here is because of a project I've recently begun working on.

I'm basically transforming an 84 Camry into a racer. I plan on replacing the engine, re-upholstering everything, repainting it, buying new tires and rims, and having new exhuast, intake, and basically everything re-doing everything.

Anyway, on to my first question, are the engine mounts in all Toyota models the same? (More specifically, will a 95 Supra engine fit in my car?)

And does anyone know of any place that sells a body kit for my car?

Thanks in advance for all the help, and I hope to gain information from and hopefully at some point contribute to these forums.

No. Use the search function to look for answers, they've been answered hundreds of times.

Forgive my idiocy, but what would be a sensible engine swap for this car?

a supra engine may be possible...

of course, when you say "supra engine", i assume it's the 2JZ-GTE, right...?

i thought so...

what about the 3rd gen supra engines (except the rare 1jz-gte)..?
what about a 2nd gen supra engine..?
what about a first gen supra engine..?

well, there IS good news...

with all the money your spending, you may be able to get your engine...

anything's possible if you have money...

how much are you willing to spend..?

3sgte if you want a turbo engine...

4agze if you want a supercharged engine...

if you're RICH up the ass, and have the skills, then go for your 2jz...

just expect lots of flames...

and...

LOTS OF SUPPORT...
