ok so how are we able to make this damn thing fast. i need more than intake and exhaust, and venom 400. i'm thinking turbo but what else can i do before that besides cam. if someone has parts for this already let mew know what you got
advance the timing a bit.. that helps but u gotta use good gas from then on.. hehe try to do some DIY stuff first in the motor and tehn go major that way u know the reliability issues in ur car are looked after first b4 goin all out for a turbo unit
well i already adjusted the timing. i know i could get header, pulley, and cam. proably a new throttle body too. and have everything bored out. haha i guess thats really all i could do. oh and i canugrade the fuel system and ignition system. i wanna know if anyone did all this stuff yet and how much power they gained.
I wouldn't mess with underdrive pulleys. All they do is disturb the harmonic balance of your engine. You will just do more harm than good in the long run.
If you got cash get the Turbo from these guys http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html
The 5s-fe can be built up with low comp forged pistons and a metal head gasket would be a good start to a build-up.If you got the money you can do anything.
i have my ignition done u can email me if u want to know more... blades@cyberdude.com i've had my pulleys done and other stuff as well u can check my ride and stuff at

There are a lot of things you can do. First help us out a little by giving us your budget and an idea of your experience level with cars. Then we can definetly help you out.
As far as underdrive pulley, I got it on and I think it is a good investment. Ask any car modder in general and you will hear good things about upgrading pulleys.
Talk more later if you can give more details for budget and stuff.

i didnt have any problems in my car i've had my pulley for about a year or so now so i think its a good investment..
Actually I found that with the underdrive pulley which is a lot smaller and a lot lighter than the stock pulley... along with shorter belts, the RPMs climbed faster, there is less stress on the engine and gas mileage improved a bit.
The accessories dim a bit at idle if you rev suddenly and let it rest... that was one difference that I found... no biggie... just something different.
It is a worthwhile mod, but whether it is worth the money that they charge for it is another question.

Hehe.. Thats exactly what I was talking about in my other post about ppl saying n/m when they find out how much it costs to build an engine.
Going fast and building motors ain't cheap. I know first hand. I have at least 10 grand into the motor on my Civic but, i'm shooting for a 400+ fwhp 10 second turbocharged beast.

Damn. $200 is crazy.
I'd pick it up in a heartbeat but, if I build a motor for my Camry its gonna be a 3S-GTE.

Yup. The 5S-FE is weak in stock form but, it can be a 500+ hp monster if built and tuned correctly.

Hehe.. Ain't nothing rice about a 500hp Camry. Shhhheeee psssshhhh.
