Fuel Filter

Hey I have a chiltons and i've been trying to find how to replace the fuel filter. Firstoff, I don't know much about my car (thats why I'm trying to work on it more) so I have no clue what it looks like anyways and how would I replace it if I knew where it was? Any imput would be awesome. Tnx

Pull the AM2 fuse out of the fuse box to de-pressurize the fuel system.

Take the gas cap off to relieve some more fuel pressure from the lines.

Crank the car a few times (wont start obviously but also makes sure you have less fuel in the lines)

Take a socket to the top nut of the fuel filter with some man-strength (or leverage) and undo it. But make sure you have a rag on the floor cause some fuel will come out.

Take a socket to the bottom nut too... take out the fuel filter and replace it... Make sure the new filter is properly oriented (right side up) and reverse what you just did.

Thanks Rat but I figured it out before I even read this lol

That filter was such a bitch to get off, probably never been changed! lol Bout time I guess.
