Only reason I can think of: the Gen 3 SE wasn't built in very high numbers, nor did it have very many features that different from say... and XLE, and Toyota just decided to scrap the SE line. But before the release of the Gen 5, they decided that they'd probably make more sales with a "sportier" version, so they brought it back. __________________ 2009 Audi TT 2.0T --- THE BEAST! 2002 LE 4Cyl --- Gone, but not forgotten. 06/28/09 Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
