How do u know it's the torque converter, because my car does sumthin strange also and i don't know what it is. Say i stop at a stop sign( car automatic) and i take my foot off the brake the car is supposed to creep forward, but instead it begins to roll backwards until I stop it. Sometimes when i driving, all of a sudden seems as if it just slips in to neutral, but it is still in drive.

My brothers car does that if you're going up a hill. Mine just stays put or creeps.

What car do you have again? I have no idea how to fix that...

have you checked the level of fluid? remember you're supposed to do it when the tranny's warm and the car's running

Thanks OLDMAN, my transmission seems to be leaking tranny fluid....

fill her up and put some of that stop leak stuff in there, seems to have worked fine for my engine, man that stuff looks like it'll kill anything though
