Best Price for Tokico's

Hey everyone, I finally have saved up a little money to redo my struts once again. I had a bad experience with the KYB-GS2 that i put on last winter, so now I am going to go with the Tokico blues to hopefully handle the 1.6'' drop I have and the chicago torn up streets.

Does anyone have an idea of where to get them for the lowest price ?? I have heard Shox.com I think they are $410 there, anyone have any experience with them or anyone else.

Thanks for the help !

Dave, Howard bought the Tokicos from Shox and needless to say, he received them without any problems. I believe he got them for about $380 then. Just make sure that whoever/wherever you buy them from, make sure to have the proper part numbers listed on the Tokico website.

Thanks for the advice luc, good call on making sure the numbers are the right ones. Yeah I think I might just go with Shox.com because I have heard good things from a couple people. Any new changes to either one of you camry's ?

If you don't want to wait for the item to be listed again on ebay we also have a deal going with a company 329 + 30 for the struts. there have been over 30 orders for them and he ships fast.

Raycarlo, have you worked with this person before ?? The warenty is still good ?? This would be great for me because it's about $70 less then Shox.com, plus my friend lives right down the street from this address and is moving back here to Chicago in 3 weeks and offered to pick them up for me so that would save me the shipping also. Just want to know if this is realable. Thanks !

I have not personally worked with them but many people from the solaraguy and sc3 forums have ordered and received their struts from this buy. If you read the responses that people have posted about it you'll see that they are all positive, he has very good customer service. About the warranty, if your speaking of the warranty on the struts, they do have the factory warranty.

I actually drove down to Santa Ana from San Francisco to pick them up (along with other activities), and seems like a great guy. Paid $329 cash for them.

Great thanks for all your insight guys. Yeah I think I am going to get them from him this week, and just have my friend that lives in Santa Ana pick them up for me.

I have had them for just over a year, I have notice the ride has become "softer" in general all over. But the main problem is the loud rattling I am getting from my rear right strut. A couple months ago when my car was at the delership for an oil change I had them listen, they agreed they thought it was the strut, but without doing a Dyno on it, couldn't be 100% but that would have cost some money which at the time I didn't have.

I don't think the KYB GS-2 handled the 1.6'' drop, I have researched and they are only warenty for 1.5'' I know close, but I also have an additional 200 pounds or so of stereo stuff in my trunk which puts some extra strain on, plus CHicago streets. I have heard nothing but great things about the Tokico's from people on this site and from magazines, so thought the upgrade would be worth it. I have always been told also, and from what I have read out here the KYB's are less firm then the Tokico's anyway

Dave, sounds like you found your source for the struts, and for that price, it's a steal.

Can you get your friend to bring some altezza tails for Howard and Mao, and the clear/red for me? J/K Nothing excitingly new here, btw.

Hey Luc, for sure I'll have him hook all you guys up with the tail lights you want, you want me to also have him get you guys the "Power By Toyota" stickers, maybe even get a VVTi Sticker, i heard those add 20 hp to the wheels !!

Hope all is well, maybe if the weather gets nice we can all meet up some time. I hope to be doing the strut install, maybe even cat-back July 12th
