damn airfilter

well i tried to put an air filter on my car this weekend, didnt go as i planned. the filter is a 3" round pipe and i have to connect it to the sensor which is a square, so i got screwed basically

What kind of car? Pictures!!! If it's a popular model they probably make an adapter for your car, and from the sound if it, I think I know a few people who had square openings and use an adapter to mount an intake arm.

bought it off a friends shop, not a very educated friend for someone working at a car shop, he didnt even know what an adapter kit was so im stuck here with a filter but no adapter kit

you just need an adaptor plate, you can get the filter and adaptor on ebay for less than 10$

You really can't do a good custom intake job unless you're good at custom fabricating stuff like that.
