A104E tranny question

is there any way to change the gear ratio's of the tranny? and is it computer controlled? thanks.

also, is there any way to control the shifting of the gears? i.e. some type of sportrongic, steptronic control

There is no way of changing the gear ratios on an automatic transmission because the transmissions is controled by clutches and bands. As for it being electronically shifting yes that is what the E stands for int he tranny code.

you can change when it shifts and how hard it shifts you can also change when it engages with a different stall convertor but with the money you spend on all that you would be better off putting a manaul tranny in it and plus the manual tranny will be more reliable.
